Van Damme ha rifiutato la parte che è andata a Lundgren, ho letto un articolone proprio ieri..sinceramente meglio così, meglio non scavare troppo nel barile, sennò arriviamo anche a Norris di questo passo Almeno la presenza di Lundgren è una sorta di omaggio nostalgico a un'era mitica.

A questo punto non resta che sperare fermamente in questo progetto, anche se sinceramente non m'ispira particolarmente, ma piuttosto che un ennesimo Rambo.

Anche se è un discorso assolutamente a parte, trovo Van Damme un attore validissimo, interessato praticamente sempre nei film dove lo scontro fisico è il fulcro. C'è da dire recitativamente lo trovo bravissimo, versatile nei ruoli che ricopre, caratterizzando al meglio alcuni personaggi ormai simbolo di questo genere, specialmente nei film diretti da Lettich... Nelle arti marziali sul grande schermo, lui è il migliore in assoluto!
In questo senso, credo che sia sottovalutato da molti per le stesse ragioni di SLY!
Stesso discorso per Swarzy, che insieme a Sly, forma l'unica coppia dei MITI del mio tempo!

P.S. Van Damme in Lionheart e Double Impact è straordinario!

Robert Earl To Produce The Expendables

The Expendables just got a little more business power.

As if the Sylvester Stallone action movie, which will star the great man himself, Jason Statham, Jet Li and – God willing – Dolph Lundgren as mercenaries trying to take down a South American dictator, needs any help raking in the cash. Why, Empire alone is planning to see 90 times. On the opening day.

But it can’t hurt to hook up with Planet Hollywood – and today, by enlisting the services of Planet Hollywood CEO, Robert Earl, as co-producer, Stallone has ensured that The Expendables will now be promoted relentlessly at all 20 Planet Hollywood sites across the globe. So expect to hear lots of, “Would you like some fries with your Jason’s Stat Ham?” when you visit any branch over the next year or so.

Of course, Stallone’s association with Planet Hollywood and its founder Earl goes back many years to 1991, but this is the first time that Earl has become involved in producing.

Filming will start on The Expendables, which we can’t see being anything other than the Greatest Film Ever Made, in Brazil and Louisiana next February. More as we get it, on a movie that we’re ludicrously, childishly excited about. Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’re off to you know where for a Sly Salad, with some Jet Li-tuce and some Dolph-friendly tuna.

Beh, con John Rambo ha fatto un buon lavoro e poi, è un compositore di tutto rispetto

Al massimo discreto compositore ma niente di più secondo me.
Conti è di tutt'altro spessore e anche Goldsmith ovviamente.

grandissima notizia nel cast entrano a far parte sia forrest whitaker che randy couture campione di kickboxing,poi inoltre l'articolo parla anche che dolph combattera' contro jet li.link aicn.

secondo me questo film sara'spettacolare.

Anche questo attore, Robert Knepper, si è unito nel cast di The Expendables, già famoso per Prison Break. Mi sembra molto bravo.
